FAU
Since December 2020, Prof. Paul Steinmann has served as FAU’s Officer for Strategic Development, working to strengthen the university’s research structure and international reputation. A professor of Applied Mechanics at FAU since 2007, he is a highly respected scholar with numerous publications and international awards. Prof. Steinmann also leads the DFG research training group FRASCAL, which brings together experts from mechanics, physics, chemistry, and mathematics to tackle complex fracture mechanics problems across scales.
